The Tree of Life

I went to LA last weekend to be on Venice Beach for the rapture. Sadly, it didn't happen.

Had I gone this week, I could have seen this film, which I think is probably better than the real rapture would have been, anyway.

She's my favorite thing by far.

The promenade was Isaac Bickmore and his dear mother singing this.

Groundhog Day

I think I posted this last year on this day, but I am too lazy to check.  What a difference a day makes.  Laura doesn't like this movie.  That always bothered me until this morning when she told me it was because she was forced to watch it so many times as a kid.  That seems reasonable, I think.  All is well once again. 

My New Years resolutions

1. Quit drinking soda (even diet soda... apparently it stops your eyes from working and makes lesions in your brain parts.)

2. Get married

3. Get a better job

4. Stop being late

Ah, yes. And as I said, I am halfway to number two with this young lady
